The mamori server brings together a robust set of security and data privacy controls.

Maybe you need them all. Maybe you only need one.

  • Device registry, 2FA, micro segmentation, intrusion detection/isolation and monitoring

  • Monitor all connection and SQL activity. Protect with connection, statement and data access policies.

  • Key vault, masking and encryption for application, API and results from SQL/No-SQL queries

  • Auto, single or multi-user approval for access to applications, end-points, servers, databases, tables, operations and masked data

  • Integrate with on premise and cloud directory and multi-factor authentication providers

  • Provision access to resources across different networks with configurable Open VPN, IPSec and SSH tunnels.

  • Customizable dashboards on all access and policy activity across HTTP, SSH, RDP and SQL

Directory & 2FA

  • Use the Mamori directory if you don’t have a directory or just don’t want to add a login to your corporate directory. For example, service accounts for database tools.

  • If you don’t have a 2FA provider like Okta or DUO, then you can extend your logins with Mamori 2FA.

  • Mamori 2FA has a mobile app that works with Apple and Android notification services and also a web app for no-internet local networks.

Monitoring & Alerts

  • Geo-encoded traffic

  • Unified HTTP/S, TCP, RDP, SSH and SQL activity logs

  • Built-in analytics mart

  • System health, performance, and access dashboards

  • Create your own widgets and dashboards with the built-in Grafana service

Access On Demand

  • Policy or resource on demand access for servers, databases, database operations, applications, application endpoints and masked data.

  • Approval can be automatic, single or multi-role.

  • Make and endorse requests via the mobile app or web portal

  • Integrate with your existing workflow solution

Manual To Automated

Canvas 1 Layer 1
  • Eliminate vulnerabilities due to manual access provisioning and de-provisioning

  • Increase productivity by eliminating wait time for resources

  • Audit trail of all access approvals

Rule based logging

Need to keep a record of a particular type of connection or session activity?

Create a rule and let Mamori do that for you. Rules can be based on :

  • Client details and protocol

  • Incoming login and role

  • Time of day & day of week

  • Target resource

  • Statement details

Network Gateway

For when your resource aren’t all in the same network or when your staff needs to access client/vendor/partner networked resources.

  • Flatten complex network access into a seamless unified resource layer.

  • Connect to remote networks with a VPN connection or an SSH tunnel

  • No changes to or agents deployed on remote networks

Frequently Asked Questions

What is Mamori Server and what does it include?
Mamori Server is the all-in-one platform that combines all of Mamori's security and data privacy modules into a single deployable server. It includes M4IP (Zero Trust Network Access), M4PAM (Privileged Access Management), M4APP (Application Security), Database Activity Monitoring and SQL Firewall, data privacy masking and encryption, access on-demand workflow, directory and 2FA integration, network gateway, and built-in security analytics and alerting. You can use every module or just the ones your environment requires. Everything deploys via Docker with no agents and no changes to your existing servers, directories, or databases.
How is Mamori Server licensed and priced?
Mamori Server is licensed on a per-user or per-application annual subscription basis. There are no charges per Mamori server or proxy — you're free to deploy as many as your environment requires without additional infrastructure cost. The licensing model is designed so you pay for the users and applications being protected, not for the servers running Mamori. Businesses with fewer than 20 staff qualify for a free license through Mamori Freemium (premium support not included).
Can Mamori Server be configured programmatically using code?
Yes. Mamori Server supports infrastructure as code through the Mamori.io Enterprise SDK. You can use the SDK to script all your IP resources, servers, databases, users, roles, keys, and security safeguards programmatically rather than configuring them through the UI. The GitHub repository includes examples for common setup and configuration operations as well as standard Grafana monitoring dashboards you can use as a starting point for your own monitoring setup.
How does Mamori Server handle access across multiple or complex networks?
Mamori Server includes a built-in Network Gateway that flattens complex multi-network environments into a unified, seamlessly accessible resource layer. If your resources are spread across different networks, or your staff needs to access client, vendor, or partner networked resources, the Gateway connects them via VPN connection or SSH tunnel. No changes are needed to remote networks and no agents are deployed on them — just a clean, unified access layer regardless of where the resources sit.
Is there a free version of Mamori Server for small businesses?
Yes. Small businesses with up to 20 staff and up to $10 million USD in gross revenue qualify for a free license through Mamori Freemium. The free license includes all Mamori Server modules — M4IP, M4PAM, and M4APP — so small businesses get access to the complete security platform at no cost. The license expires at the end of each year, and Mamori sends a new license before it expires so there's no interruption in coverage. Premium support is not included but can be purchased separately.
